About Me
I am a seasoned 3D artist and proficient software developer with a successful record of creating programs centered around both data handling and visual effects. My current personal project involves producing a UI-based Unreal Engine plug-in that automatically imports geometry and animations from Maya without the need for both programs to be open. In addition to my software development skills, I am proficient in crafting 3D models for both visual effects and product manufacturing.
My VFX skill set encompasses dynamic simulations, compositing, keyframe animation, and motion-capture techniques. I have directed and produced multiple short films and completed freelance advert projects for businesses and charities, showcasing my experience as an experienced VFX artist. Beyond my technical prowess, I excel in teaching and communication, taking joy from sharing knowledge for topics I am passionate about.
Experience
I hold a 1st-class degree in Visual Effects from Birmingham City University, complemented by an A in A-level Computer Science. Since graduating, I have worked for multiple digital media companies, producing VFX tools, animations, and creating 3D assets for use in films, games and manufacturing.
I currently work at Fujitsu as an Infrastructure Monitoring Technical Operator, where I ensure the stability of key government systems.
