A Family Matter - Final Year Film

A Family Matter is a group short-film produced as part of my final year at Birmingham City University. The film was created using real-time virtual production techniques within Unreal Engine 5, which allowed us to place the actors within the virtual environments.

I took on the roles of Producer and Technical Director for this project. As Producer I maintained the schedule for the project, ensuring that the film stayed within the given scope. I also distributed the necessary tasks to my peers to make the film as efficiently as possible.

As Technical Director, I was responsible for setting up systems such as the motion-capture to Unreal engine link. I also self-hosted a Git server at home to allow myself and my peers to simultaneously work on a single project folder.
