Maya-Make-Unreal

The goal of this project is to allow a user to pick a Maya scene file and import a chosen set into Unreal Engine, all within a UE menu (Not needing to have Maya open).

The script works by using the Maya standalone library to open a headless Maya instance containing the user’s chosen scene. This headless window then handles the data exporting, and communicates with Unreal engine to automatically import the data into the UE project.

The UI was developed using the PyQT library and the QTDesigner software.
